W. H. Curry

W. H. Curry opened his photography studio at 414 Market Street in Wilmington, DE in 1867, first advertising in the Delaware Tribune in June of that year. Based on newspaper advertisements, the studio seemed to operate through the 1870s. In 1877, the space at 414 Market Street was sold to another photographer, J. Paul Brown, who took up his practice there.

It is unknown whether Curry moved to another location or retired from photography, but after 1877 there were numerous mentions of a W H Curry in Wilmington working for the city as an auditor.
